Top 5 points should keep in mind while going for an Interview

Are you going to a job interview? Many people are unsure about what to do or how to perform in order to land a job. When they get a call for an interview, they are excited but also tensed, and they don't pay much attention to their Role and only worry about the interview situation. However, if you recall some essential points for obtaining approval, you will be able to overcome this. The interview should last long enough for you to determine whether the candidate is a good fit for the company and the job.

Here are five things to keep in mind during an interview.

1.Keep a good attitude

In an interview, your attitude is quite important. That is how you treat people, including the interviewer, and how confident you are in yourself and your abilities. No matter how much experience or qualifications you have, if you have an egoistic and aggressive attitude, you will miss out on the opportunity. The interviewer is looking for quality rather than quantity; they are not looking for who answers the questions effectively, but rather whether you have a problem-solving attitude. Don't just put up a good show in front of them; develop your mindset and focus on interviewing properly. Be open-minded during the interview, but respect him and don't be as open as you would to your best friend.

Here are some tips how your attitude should be in office-

·         Be polite and greet everyone you meet.

·         When you enter the interview, offer the interviewer a warm greeting.

·         Don't forget to express gratitude to the interviewer for setting up the appointment.

By following this tips , it will reflect your positive personality.

 2. Dress Decent

Our initial impression, as we all know, is the most lasting. Our dressing reflects our internal external so, it is very essential to take particular care about our appearance. Prepare your clothing in accordance with the company's dress code. Wear ironed and clean formals; don't just show up in a vacation outfit; this will show that you aren't serious about the interview or job. I suggest you should look presentable, smart and decent.

Here are few guideline about dressing-

·         Get solid colors clothes, wear light color shirt and dark color formal pants.

·         Get a tie possible, a belt(dark color), get dark shoes.if possible get a blazer  suit.

·          Get a professional haircut and shave or trim your beard.

Before the interview, try on your outfit to make sure it fits and looks professional. It's not about style when you're looking for a professional job; it's about how smart you look.Dress for Success and be a gentleman.

3. Take attention to your body language.

When you're in an interview, your body language is really important. The manner in which you respond, sit, and speak. In an interview, inappropriate body language can cause disruption or distraction. Your body language reflects your level of self-assurance. Speak clearly and loudly; do not mumble or whisper. This could jeopardise your response.

Sit up straight and relaxed with a positive body language.

While answering, don't gaze anywhere else and maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Don't keep staring at him.

Keep your hands on your lap and avoid touching your face or hair.

Keep a cheerful attitude, don't forget to smile, and be grateful.

4. Don’t try to fake.

This is an essential point: don't try to be someone else before the interviewer; just be yourself.Do not lie about having extreme talents or anything else; it will cause stress later. So don't be too proud of your experience, skill, and so on. You're probably aware that at an interview, you'll be asked difficult questions, and you might not get them right. In such a situation, it's easy to become anxious and not respond. Instead, be direct with them and say, "Excuse me, could you kindly repeat or explain the question?" So it's a mistake to pretend that you have everything the organisation requires. And in order to disguise this falsehood, you must tell a lot other lies. So be as honest as possible

.If you are given chance to ask question ask them few insight question. The more insightful your questions are, the more you will impress your interviewer.

5. Carry Required Things

After you've mentally prepared yourself and decided what to dress, the last step is to carry the appropriate items. You bring a pen of good quality (not expensive) and additional paper with you so that you can take notes or emails the interviewer. Make at least 3-4 copies of your resume and save them in a separate folder to avoid wrinkles. Include at least two or three pre-written interview questions for your interviewers to use. If your mind goes blank when the interviewer asks, “Do you have any questions?” it will benefit you.

To put it another way, you can bring a handbag, briefcase, or portfolio to properly organize and carry your belongings.

Finally, you must respect their time by arriving 10-15 minutes earlier. Because even after all of your preparation, if you arrive late, people will probably not comprehend you. Remember to stay calm and comfortable while driving and throughout the interview so that you can be attentive and remember everything properly. Don't walk in anxious about whether you'll get a job or not; instead, walk in with a cheerful attitude.
